Will Febreeze damage the water repellancy of a Gore Tex jacket?

Can Febreeze damage the water resistance of a Gore Tex jacket if applied to it? The jacket in question is a rain parka that has a musty smell and regular washing has not removed the smell completely.

    Fabreeze is a temporary product and it is not a good idea to apply it to your jacket. If you read the label you will see it can even damage upholstery and fabric.

    Try hanging your jacket outside for a few days and let fresh air get the remaining smell out.

    google gore tex cleaning. Mine was expensive and i wouldnt chance it.
