Why isn't there a better way of reporting people who make multiple accounts to give themselves BA?
Has anyone noticed the trend on Y!A? Typically it's someone with a fake first and last name and has the male or female avatar (plain underwear, no frills, no background). The male akas often have a female avatar or vice versa and/or post gender-specific questions that are the opposite gender of their avatar/aka. The reply when picking BA is "Thank you! That is a valuable result" or "Thank you". There are hundreds of those fake accounts. I googled it and I read that it's spammers trying to get to the next level to post hyperlinks.
Here's one such person with 100% BA:

They post bogus questions, and I've read that they copy/paste other's Q's. What can be done against this new form of trolling? Some ppl spend a lot of time answering these Q's, particularly when some ask about suicide and grave/urgent things like that. They also make it hard to believe that other's Q's are real and give them importance.
Should Y!A implement a button to report someone's entire account? It takes at least a minimum of 3 reports per Q to have it removed. What can be done in the interim?
Thank you.
They've moved on to the anonymous avatars such as mine and a single first name but you can see here the poster goes by "James" and the respondant has copy/pasted an answer and addressing James as "Annie" and "James" is unphazed by it: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AowFX...
@EDY: the problem is they are wasting OUR time who spend it to give them good answers, and our trust in the good faith & nature of questioneers.
@Team Earth: you're right! There's even a section for "homework". Why!? And in the math section they have others solve their math problems! Must be nice & easy being a kid in school these days! Homework done in seconds vs. days when I was a kid. Problem is they enter college or the workforce and are completely incompetent.
@Wide Glide: thank you! :)

From the "OFFICIAL SPAM BATTLE THREAD"
We CAN take action against spammers who start out by point-gaming up to Level 2, or who mix up their spam with some "real" answers. But NOT HERE. Take those to the Chatzy for evaluation and/or email them to me.

I am sorry to hear this, but I just had to stop taking YA seriously because of the trolls and dishonesty on here. It is as bad as their game site ie. Yahoo card games riddled with horrible cheat programs. The whole thing is really out of control. I try now to stick to one or two categories and answer to have a little fun, but expecting honesty and fair play on yahoo is like asking for the moon in the palm of your hand..it will never happen. Yahoo is just too big. I personally think YA answers should go by the way side as it consists mainly of kids now who have nothing better to do then scam and insult people. You can even find articles on line about teachers complaining that kids are using YA to cheat in school. Yet here it still is!

First let me tell you that it is a violation to post links and call out another user. Yes even a multiple account cheat. Secondly do not let it bother you,When I and many others see blatant and obvious cheating we report abuse on up to five answer We also send a link to the team email . y_answrs_team@yahoo.com Finally Yahoo has all sorts of checks and can spot this stuff automatically. They will get caught and they will be removed. Check out the top ten on the UK leader board and you will see that even Level 7 and Orange Badge Holders can get caught too.

Those types of account users are wasting their time.
Seriously, it's not like anyone gets anything for reaching "top level".
The points are as meaningless as the points in Portal 2, Co-op mode.
