FYI the Toyota owners manual recommends 5W30 oil and your vehicle most likely will need 4 quarts. I have been DIY changing my own oil since I was teenager and simply followed Honda or Toyota recommmendations and never had a problem. BEST ADVICE is to use genuine Honda or Toyota oil filters and look for dealer parts coupons or buy on EBAY from Honda/Toyota in quantities from 4 to 10 at one time if you have garage and good tools as well as know in advance which local service accept recycle engine oil for free.

When I was a boy and first started changing oil, my Dad told me and they only sold straight 30W used in the summer warmer temperatures and 20W used during the winter and colder temperatures.

I might add that the highest mileage we have ever gotten was 211,000 miles on 1993 Toyota Camry LE that was replaced by 2005 Highlander SUV now with 69,000 miles but I should also mention that we own 1998 Toyota Sienna XLE minivan from brand new that currently has 148,000 miles and at around 100,000 miles because some earlier Siennas had engine sudge problems what I did to baby/treat my Sienna and hope to reach 211,000 miles or more was change over to the more expensive Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil. Note that once the engine is changed over to synthetic oil supposedly it is a one-way deal as the engine components adjust to such tolerances. No problems and in fact, coworkers said I could even wait to every 7,500 miles between oil changes rather than the normal usual 5,000 miles.

REMEMBER to always use genuine Honda/Toyota Oil Filters and I personally don't mind paying for a brand name oil because an engine overhaul or rebuild is expensive and can be avoided/prolonged if you practice good preventive auto maintenance and try not to be cheap because if something major went wrong just because you negected common sense, well you will always remember and never forget because it will feel the affect in your wallet.

    Hope the Above Info Helps!
