Stockton is pretty rough. See if you can try for places on the outer edges. Stockton has a lot of crime. It has been rated as one of the worst places to live in the U.S.. def. Drive around there to see what you can handle.

Sorry to tell you, but that doesn't really exist in Stockton. Bad schools and a lot of crime.
