Question about starting programming?

I just want to learn on my own for the beginning, maybe take a few classes later on. I have been learning basic coding for the time being with qb64 and fbIDE. Should I start with a different language? If so which one? I want to eventually get to c++ probably, maybe java, c# and c... I dunno but I need to know where to start :D Thanks

Update:

Edit: Basic is a programming language if you guys didn't know...

Also: I don't want to learn HTML it's not a coding language, it's just formatting, not interested.

Ugh, Basic is not so good. Switch to Java, then move on to C++ once you're familiar with the ins and outs of using Java.
