I appealed an Answer that was reported, nothing happened?
I received an email that one of my answers was reported by the Yahoo community.
I clicked on the link to appeal (this was over 1 week ago).
I have not received a response, and when I click on the link to appeal the violation, it says "you have already appealed this decision".
How long will it take yahoo to get moving with the appeal / response?
Thanks.

The reason it's taking so long to get a reply is because due to the mass deletions the appeals are backlogged. They said it will take 2-4 weeks (I've been waiting 6 weeks so it may take months)

There has been so much reporting as of late (both of legitimate Q&A and actual violations) that Y!A is backed up indefinitely on appeals. 2 months is a good current estimate, but I have even heard of an appeal decision 7 months later.
So be patient is the best advice I can give you.

it is my know-how that the question or answer you rfile would not get bumped off except 2 or extra human beings rfile a similar one for a similar reason. The question or answer might get bumped off in case you have earned the "depended on Reporter" score. it is for those people who usually rfile AND what they rfile is a valid violation. The "depended on Reporter" score is dynamic, and variations with each and every question or answer you rfile properly.
