Plan B questions...best answer given today plz help?
I had sex at the end of August, took Plan B and my period started on Monday afternoon (September 5.) It is now gone for the most part, not really any bleeding left. This morning at 4am I had sex and the condom broke. Meaning, there was *** inside of me after this. Now, i was still having a tiny bit of blood this morning when I had a shower, and I was wondering if I should take Plan B again, even tho it's only been a week since I last took it. I have normal periods for the most part, they are the regular 28 day cycles. I need to know if I should take another Plan B because of this, or should I even be worried since it was so soon after having my period from Plan B...I am confused and Im not sure if I should be worrying about pregnancy or not. Plz someone I need a good answer, I dont want to waste money on Plan B if im not going to be pregnant anyway and I dont want to take more hormones if they're just going to screw with my cycle more, especially if there isn't a chance of me being pregnant. Best answer will be give out to anyone who answers asap.

You could be pregnant, but you probably aren't. Plan B is used for emergencies and is only 89% effective up to 5 days after using it. To be safe you should probably take it again just because you only have a small window of opportunity to use it before if becomes ineffective. You should really reconsider your birth control methods as they are not working properly for you. I also do not think that hormones long term are very good for you but if you are not ready for children if is a better alternative than most. If you have previously had children, you might look into getting a Paraguard Copper T 380, it is an IUD that lasts for 10 years without hormones. Planned Parenthood and the Health Department are good places to start if you are having a hard time affording birth control.
