Need help with hanging a shelf... need a way to fix my mistake...?

I accidentally used a drywall anchor that was too big for the screws I need to use. I haven't had any luck finding a screw that is thick enough to fit into the anchor, yet has a small enough / flat head to fit into the keyhole on the shelf.

I can't move the position of the shelf, as it's a corner shelf with 2 fixed keyholes...

The anchor I mistakenly used was a 1/2" drywall anchor. I was supposed to use 9mm x 32mm anchor with a 6mm x 25mm screw (head measuring 6 mm in diameter, and is flat).

If it's a plastic anchor you just push into a hole you make in the wall, then this should work:

Borrow a hot glue gun and fill the anchor with hot glue. Then let it set with the screw in place sticking out the correct amount. If that doesn't work, or you can't find a hot glue gun (they are very cheap at a discount store or home products center) experiment with adding a sliver of wood or a sliver of the plastic the anchor was made from before you screw in the screw. The right thickness of material will help the screw catch tight in the anchor.
