Is it a good idea to play a Strings instrument and a Band instrument?

This will be my 3rd Year Playing the Violin, but I also want to play the Flute or the Trumpet. I'm worried I could get mixed up with the notes. I don't really mind that but I really wanna play another Instrument. Please give me a good Answer!

its always great to learn a new instrument

however the only difference is the octave range that will go into it

Flute you will have prepare for very high notes above the staff beyond

Trumpet is depending on the style, in band you will be using more lower notes

also it will depend on the clef you use both use treble clef so it will be easy to understand

I have no idea what the Violin uses but it will be easy to understand to learn once you go by

Don't worry about the notes. Playing a valve instrument after learning violin isn't a problem. The fingering is completely different. The main thing is that you already play violin and have a "musician's ear," which gives you a head start.

The first instrument I played was a euphonium. Then I learned guitar, violin and keyboard.

The easiest instrument is the keyboard, because the notes are laid out from low to high, so you don't have to learn any combinations of finger positions to play a scale. It's not so tiring as violin, and no puff required like brass and woodwind AND, there's a lot more music available for keyboards.

Totally. The more Instruments someone learns the better. Maybe occasionally you might get confused on notes. But those Instruments are so different that it shouldn't be that big of a problem.

i does no longer attempt and turn. It messes which comprise your embochure somewhat lots to concentration on a clean tool. in case you have been enjoying clarinet or sax then you definately could swap to a different reed tool only approximately no problem in any respect. same with brass participant. yet flute is somewhat particular. i does no longer mess with it in case you have been enjoying see you later...until eventually you wanna do percussion.
