What should I do with my baby girl (5weeks)?
Once my girl cries I'd check if she's wet or dirty then normally she's hungry so we will sit on my recliner and feed her and make her burp and make her fall asleep again. But lately, she will literally be awaken once I put her back to her crib and cry until I pick up her up again. Is this normal? Should I be wporried? Am I missing something? What should I do?

I would pick her up and walk around with her holding her close to you as your doing this creating a rocking motion. Also I would get a CD with the sounds of the ocean as this would help sooth her and with the rocking of her should make her feel calm and comforted. Then she should just fall a sleep rather easy.

Usually between 5 and 6 weeks babies start to get more social - you will see social smiles, and they are more aware of their caregivers. They also often have a growth spurt around this time. All of this can disrupt sleep. Let her be awake for about an hour or maybe two between sleeps. Most of this time is taken up with changing and feeding and burping, but you will have a few minutes to play, make silly faces, talk, etc. Just do your best. At this age they are so on their own schedule, and they don't start to get really regular until about 3 or 4 months.

She just wants to cuddle. Wait for her to fully fall asleep until you put her in her crib. I didn't let mine cry in the crib until he was a year old ( I felt that he didn't know how to deal with his emotions yet... that is debated) Just enjoy the time you get with her while she's little, it doesn't last long

As she gets older she will be awake more, and when she is, she will want to be with you. This is the time you get to talk to her, sing to her, dance with her and have fun with her. As she gets sleepy, feed her and rock her so she can sleep and try to put her down when she is asleep.

Your baby is fine, she just wants mommy's comfort. My baby was like that, she wanted to sleep on me, but now she's 5 months she sleeps good in her crib (mA)

Hold her & rock her back to sleep. She wants YOU! Enjoy the time & try not to get too frustrated.
