Contradiction. If there is a Heaven, why wouldn't perfection be required? Otherwise it would be called Earth?

What contradiction? 'Perfection' IS required, that's why we -HAVE- to be washed clean by Jesus to enter into Heaven.

Perfect to whom? Under what preconceptions and morals do we assess perfection?

Maybe everyone ends up up in THEIR version of perfect...or maybe we all come back again and again till we make it perfect here...or maybe we just lay down and go to sleep and know nothing ever again and get forgotten eventually...

why do so many people spend so much time WORRYING about it though? It will happen...whatever IT is...you can do nowt about it either way. We can all be agreed that we have a fleeting time to experience what we know we do have.,..right here...and to try to make that a bit better.

Why waste any of that precious time fearing that over which none of us have any control...or any real knowledge of at all? There is much to learn here on earth, but what happens to us after we die is not, I am afraid, one of them.

It just seems such an abject waste of energy to keep speculating on it to me.

Angels aren't perfect, and there can be no 'good' without 'evil.' Lucifer/Satan was God's most beloved angel, and even he grew sinful and rebelled. So I don't believe you need to be perfect to get in (that is if it really does exist; personally, I'm just a 'thiest', so I don't necessarily believe in the Christian God). I think Heaven is supposed to be perfect, but angels aren't; they're just mostly good.

The only way into Heaven? Is through Jesus Christ. Nothing else matters if you have Him in your life. There is no sin in Heaven, there fore it is PERFECT!

"Perfection" is essentially subjective, and without described attributes is meaningless anyway.

For example, should heaven be perfectly large or perfectly small? According to whom?

So the idea is a problem.

Religions have to make heaven seem obtainable. Otherwise, they wouldn't have any followers. I would not bet on an extremely long shot.

Christian answer: once you enter heaven you lose your ability to sin and become perfect.

That's a massive IF
