Question about restoring my iPod Touch?
If I back up my iPod, and then restore it, will it delete all my music from my iTunes(I know it deletes music from my iPod, but will they be gone from my iTunes too?)
If so, how do I get them back? I have over 900 songs in my iTunes, and I really don't want to have to find all those songs again to put them back in my iTunes..
Btw, I have to restore it because I changed my passcode, became busy and now cannot remember what I changed it to.
Please only helpful, serious, and nice answers. Thanks!

Restoring your iPod only brings the iPod back to factory settings. So therefore all downloaded apps, music, calender dates, contacts, etc. will be removed from the iPod. It makes the iPod look like it did when you got it out of the box. If you back it up then, once you restore it, it "should" let you put everything that you backed up back on. But lately i have been having a lot of issues with my iPod Touch 4th GEN. Because of your 900 songs + then i would just make sure all the apps and playlists are still on iTunes. But that what backing up is for.

If you saved all of your music on your computer you are good. Restoring your ipod does not delete the music from your itunes. Just restore the ipod and the music will go right back on. If not your out of luck because you can't transfer music from an ipod very easily (for legal reasons I guess). If your music is on another computer then transfer it over using a usb stick or external hard drive.
But if you have it on your itunes already your golden just press the restore button and everything will be good.
