I know breathing exercises do help but I want to really improve upon my vocals more. What are some of the best ways for me to better my singing?

Practice!!!! try 1-2 hours at a time, three times a week or more. Always warm up using a head-voice. Find songs in your range and styles that fit your voice. Power your notes from your diaphragm. pick songs / styles that are within your range and you can feel confident singing.
