should 9/11 first responders get free health care for life?

though i totally think they should i also see the reality of it. If you were to give these people free(who deserve it) insurance for life LOTS of people would come out of the wood work wanting free health care, not to mention all the other groups that would sue and say that there "disaster" should qualify. What about all the people that have emotional trauma, like the pilots ans stewardess that were on duty that day.

Not only that but what about all the people that are sick because they went back home after the CDC incorrectly said it was okay to come home and clean up the dust? what about them?

So in order to do that the United States Government would have to come out and openly say it was wrong, opening it up to infinite lawsuits, you would have people 100 years from now suing the government on behalf of there great grand parents

the government has tried this and it backfired

During the after math of hurricane Katrina FEMA gave out emergency pre paid credit

cards to people they thought were in need. People came from 500 miles away by the BUS load got the cards drove to best buy and bought flat screens with it

Yep. There is absolutely NO reason why they should not.

I didn't read the rest of your article as I just answered the topic question since this is my belief.
