Ramadan: Do you hold the Dunya on your head or in your hands? What about the Akhirah?
Asalamu Aleikom!
If you were to sit and reflect on your life right now, do you find that you tend to make Dunya as your priority even when it has a bad effect on your Akhirah (afterlife)?
The companions of the prophet (saws) used to place their Deen (religion) on their heads like a crown, and the Dunya between their hands. Therefore whenever their deen gets out of place and needs fixing, they put down the Dunya and use their hands to fix their Deen. Subhanallah its the opposite of what we see these days. We put the Dunya on our heads as a crown, and the Deen between our hands. And when the Deen affects our Dunya, we let it go aside and care more for the Dunya.
How do you wear your Deen and Dunya? May Allah guide us~
@Gento - yes ofcourse, but that is why we are still holding the Dunya in our hands :)

Wa'alikum Asalam Warahamathullahi Wabarakthu My beloved Friend, Hope you are in the best of faith and health my friend <3 <3
I was just reading your Email, By Allah my friend, i felt so relaxed and happy, Alhumdu Lillah, thank you very much...Jazaki Allah Alf khair. I will email you back once i get home, i am on Campus now LOL.
Anyway, coming back to your Question, Subhana Allah, the companions of our beloved Prophet [Peace and blessings be upon him] used to race on another in doing good deeds. Omar and Abu Bakr [May Allah be pleased with them] loved each other, yet they would compete each other as to who'd do more good deeds. They fought for the sake of Allah and even in Jihad, they wanted to be the first to be martyr; Martyrdom was beloved to some of them. Today is the absolute opposite, we race on another in materialism, martyrdom is not appealing to us. If Omar or Abu Bakr [Radi Allahu Anhum] lived in our Era, they would have liberated Palestine from the hand of Isreal and this Ummah would have been in a much better state.
There is no point of complaining about the world Lol, I should start from myself rather than pointing out faults and live according to Allah's Law. May Allah make the Akhira beloved to us than this Duniya, Ameen
Take Care Sis, <3<3

Walaikumussalam.
There is no success without Deen. Duniya is temporary, noone in this world has been satisfied with worldly blessings.
Practising Deen is as important as Deen itself, Deen is more important than everything in this world, even if it means your breath.... because its Deen on which depends your Akhirah. May Allah help us in following the right path and have His mercy on the day of Judgement. Imaan on all this is important for me and for everyone.

suited, i won't be able to write with my left hand in any respect! yet I do a good sort of issues with my left hand, curiously i'm left hand eye co-ordinated. Or suited, whichever is the choice of what suited handers could be! I open doors, carry bags and do maximum stuff with my left hand.

Walaikum salam sis.
But that does not mean Dunya is not important. ;) Its not quite important as compared to our religion but its still important
to us.
We revere our Prophet (S.A.W) highly. He was The perfect example for all mankind-
He was successful as a
husband,
father,
prophet,
messenger,
diplomat,
merchant,
philosopher,
orator,
legislator,
reformer,
military general.
How about all those Ladies in Islam? Im sure you already know. ;)
Edit: These Muslimahs -Fatima and her sister Mariam founded the mosque and the OLDEST university in the world-

Edit: Of COZ. ;)
Amalgamate our Dunya and Akhirah into 1 with guidance and examples from the last prophet (S.A.W) and prophets before him (P.B.U.Them all).
Thats how we find God.

Seest thou not that Allah sends down rain from the sky? With it We then bring out produce of various colours. And in the mountains are tracts white and red, of various shades of colour, and black intense in hue.
And so amongst men and crawling creatures and cattle, are they of various colours. Those truly fear Allah, among His Servants, who have knowledge: for Allah is Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving.

These are some examples of inhabitants of this DUNYA we live in. Are they not important??!
If they not, this world is "meaningless and temporary" then dont waste your time.. go up that building and jump down. Die Early, Lesser sins, nearer to Heaven. Bring along your families with you. Stop wasting God's Oxygen.
Edit:
Nothing in this world is more destructive and dangerous than HUMAN BEINGS. There many things we cant learn inside classroom! There many things we just cannot understand about The Noble Qur'an.
Learn to be a proper Human Being, the one God commands you to, the one the Prophet (S.A.W) wanted you to.
But 1st, learn what is a Human-
