how many micrograms in.1 milligrams?

    100 micrograms in 0.1 milligrams.

    I shall attemt to answer your question in a broader perspective..

    The words nano,micro,pico,femto etc. imply something.

    the prefix milli denotes 10^-3

    micro denotes 10^-6

    nano denotes 10^-9

    pico denotes 10^-12

    femto denotes 10^-15

    Similarly,

    kilo denotes 10^3

    mega denotes 10^6 and so on (in reference to analog values like kilometer,kilogram etc.)

    So, 1 microgram would mean 10^-6 gram.

    1 milligram would mean 10^-3 gram.

    now, 0.1 milligram = 10^-4 gram = 100 microgram.
