happen if one got on web of the other and do they try nick each others webs

    Female garden spiders will spin their own web, which is their own domain, another female that found her way into another web, would instigate a battle to death. This is not a common occurrence however.

    There are some species of orb weaver that do live communally, and you may find many spiders sharing a common web.(some of these webs can be huge)

    Even the male, approaching a female, must identify itself to the female by strumming on the web, lest it be mistaken for prey and become lunch.
