Do you agree that Paul, Bachmann, and Cain were the top three in the GOP debate? What did you like/dislike?

I would appreciate serious comments, please. What did you like/dislike? Do you have a top candidate? Has your favorite candidate changed since the debates began?

Update:

I refuse to vote for Newt after he was in the climate change commercial. I can't trust him.

I do agree they were the top three.

I think Dr. Paul may be a little too honest for his own good. I couldn't believe the boos he got for merely suggesting that it is our occupation of foreign countries that might invite the terrorist attacks against us. As he noted, that was Osama's reason for the 9/11 attacks, it wasn't the congressman's own! He just wanted to point out that our government may be inviting attacks against us, not Muslim hatred for our freedom and democracy. Maybe we should leave them alone and see if that doesn't end the attacks against us?

Bachmann did pretty well, except when she was given that stupid question about the 30 year old in a coma. She never did answer the question, only saying that she would make sure Obamacare is repealed. Rep. Paul did a fantastic job of such a ridiculous question in saying that instead of the government picking up the tab for someone who chose not to have medical insurance, his friends, church and other support system should chip in. Right on! Now that was an excellent answer, although I'm sure it was thrown at Dr. Paul to make him appear to be a nutjob.

I think Cain gave some good answers, especially as he pointed out that he was the only one who wasn't a politician. However, because of some of his previous responses before this debate, I am convinced he's not ready for office. He needs to brush up on his foreign affairs knowledge first.

As you can probably tell, my pick is Rep. Ron Paul and he has always been.

According to article at Yahoo, Paul was listed under the loser category , Bachman in the big winner's category, and Cain was neither one. I only watched first hour but that was to see if any of the republican candidates were going to annihilate each other. Since you said you don't like Newt, I thought I might add that he was placed in the big winner's category.

The first time in my life I have ever followed the US elections, the reason is that I think one of the most important figures of the 21st century is about to take the stage....maybe as president.....definately as a revolutionary in Ron Paul. The reason he seems to be around the top in the debates is that he is saying what he truly believes, which means he never has to make stuff up on the spot.

I'm not sure we watched the same debate...the one I watched was dominated by the only person with big enough M&M's to take a real fight to the coming election was Newt!

I suggest you watch the real debate, not the youtube one. Top three? In fantasy land.

Yes, but I don't trust Ron Paul.

As for Gingrich, if he could change his attitude about what you've indicated, then he should be fine,.
