Do you think COD will survive the takeover of BF? If so, do you think COD could get better and come back?

Cod will always be the same. They fear to change anything gameplay wise or it will ruffle the communities feathers. This is why MW2 and MW3 are exactly the same, besides small little features, if you watch interviews on what people thought about the game every single person said it felt the same as MW2. That isn't a bad thing, just after a while I think that BF3 will become the top shooter unless COD does one of 2 things.

1. Grow some balls and actually do some major changes.

2. Make a different game.

Everyone's still gonna buy COD. The once thing Activison is really good at is building hype and marketing. Even if the game sucks, DAMN they make it look good. I've been saying I'm done buying COD games since MW2 till now. But as usual, I am gonna buy MW3. Also, EA has to be retarded saying they expect MW3 to do better.

no... because cod produces the same thing every year. EA has really outdone themselves this time. bf3 is so realistic looking and if u have played Battlefield 2 on the pc you would understand why its quite rediculous its nothing like bad comapny the games are intense as hell and its like ur in a real war fighting with your squad to win the fight.

i have to say i find myself playing and having more fun playing bad company 2 and medal of honor more than black ops or mw2 i find that battlefield game to be better balanced than cod games and i personally am not buying mw3 so i can purchase bf3

Uh, you do realize Battlefield is older than Call of Duty, right? Battlefield 1942 came out in 2002, and the first Call of Duty came out in 2003. They've existed alongside each other for almost eight years now, there is no "takeover".

mw3 will be overrated. the maps look quite boring tbh. the guns will be good tho. and it looks a bit tactical this timee not like the other cods run and gun its just looks bit different

Cod would really have to screw up to just completly die out. So yea I think theyll durvive the takeover.

Battlefield 3 will extremely suck way more on xbox and ps3. but will be better than mw3 on pc.
