Why didn't God just forgive original sin?
He created us, and knew us. He knew what we'd do, and still did it.
Then when we 'sinned', he held US accountable for it, and called it original sin. Something which we're all born into.
He then sent himself, as his own son, to Earth to die for our sins. Yet our original sin STILL remains, AND he didn't die. So why go through the trouble of saying that HE died for our sins, sins which are sins due to his OWN rules, when he didn't die? What purpose did this exercise serve, if he didn't die for sins against the very rules he created himself?
Why not just forgive us? Would that not have served the same goal? Why not just be as forgiving as he says he is, and then just forgive us?

This is war, we are not at play. The war between good and evil has moved to a lower plane than the spiritual where it was with the angels. In the physical, God cannot be for no man can see God and so He acts only through man. So it is with Satan. We are created as servants, slaves, without the ability to think any thoughts other than either good or evil as introduced to us in Genesis 1-3.
John 8:42-47 Jesus tells us that Satan has a kingdom, a language (lies) and action (hate) just as God has a kingdom, a language (truth) and action (love). We have been created to choose which is our master, so this makes us the maker of our own destiny. Death is the seal of our destiny.

There are 2 points of view in christianity.
1. People are born in a state of grace and must fall from it to go to hell.
2. Everyone is born in some way bad or evil and must achieve grace.
Now original sin is clearly the later. We as humans are all in position of the same sin. We don't live in Eden but instead must struggle with the world to live and survive.
Are we denied heaven for this? Christians say this.
But on the other hand we can see that the suffering of our lives is the result of original sin. But we won't be denied heaven because of it, we just have to suffer through life because of it.

The opening chapters of the Bible tell us what happened when Adam and Eve committed the first sin - but they don't tell us exactly why God allowed it to happen. We must be careful, therefore, not to blame God for something that is ultimately beyond our understanding.
At the same time, the Bible does tell us two very important truths about Adam and Eve's sin. First, it tells us that they were completely free to love God - or to reject Him. In other words, they weren't robots! God's warning was clear: "You must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die" (Genesis 2:17).
But what if they had been robots - that is, what if they didn't have any will of their own, and all they could do was love God? Then their "love" for God wouldn't have been love at all - because love always involves a choice or a decision on our part. God took a great risk in creating them with a free will - but only then could their love for Him be real.
The other truth the Bible tells us, however, is that while sin's consequences were great - God's love is even greater. The proof is that He sent His only Son into the world so we could have our sins forgiven. Have you turned to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness and new life you need?

Concept of sin either have motivational or control purpose. Judging that doing something for reward destroys internal motivation....
We all are God's children (and by that I don't mean Abrahamic, nor "your" Christian aspect), while God (personification of Love, not control nor fear) is in all of us. That Love make us pure so I might ask you "how is sin possible". Maybe concept and meaning sin comes from Latin without meaning without: love knowledge or sth.

First of all God tried just to forgive the first sin. He asked Adam : "did you eat from the tree?" and Adam instead of saying : "I made a mistake! Please forgive me!" he said : "The women YOU GAVE ME told me to eat from it and I did!" Practically Adam says: "I am not guilty. the women is at fault, and you too because you gave her to me." The woman also does not admit the blame, but blames the serpent. Also Jesus died in reality, it was not a hoax. The reason why God did this is related in the Bible: when they where banned from the garden they started crying and started to feel sorry. So God comforted them and promised them a way to redempt themselves. He promised them a person to comfort them. Eve though Abel was that person.

It's all a convoluted ancient crazy form of morality that makes no sense. Now we understand our world better, but not to an infinite degree or anything. We are always learning things. Any religion that says everything is already figured out absolutely in the world is retarded.

Original sin is washed away by the propitiation of Jesus on the cross.
But that atoning sacrifice ONLY applies to those that accept the gift.
Otherwise, sin abounds.

But then what means would you use to extort money for the churches??
Obviously, you don't think like christian clergy.

Because God is a just God.
Why would we expect the Author of morality to be 'less moral' than we?
