Will they go undefeated this season?
Do you think the Baltimore Ravens will go undefeated this season? I know, that is asking a lot; but, if you look at their schedule....it's not as difficult as it appeared to be early in the offseason.
Here is the list of teams they will be facing:
Tennessee
St. Louis
New York Jets
Houston
Jacksonville
Arizona
Pittsburgh
Seattle
Cincinnati
San Fran
Cleveland
Indianapolis
San Diego
Cleveland
Cincinnati
Now, the only tough games I can foresee are: Jets, Texans (maybe?), Pittsburgh and San Diego.
If not undefeated, what will there record be? Playoffs? Super Bowl? Champions?

Nope. Its not a matter of how easy or hard the schedule is, because history has shown that an undefeated season just isn't a priority for most teams. The only exception to that rule were the Patriots in 2007. Apparently, they felt that chasing an undefeated season was more important than the ultimate goal and that is to win a championship. Most teams will do one thing, and that is to rest their starters at the end of the season. The Ravens I think will be fine because over the past few seasons, they have improved. But if the Ravens as an organization want to win another championship, they will do the smart thing and that is rest their starters. Once they solidify home field advantage or get a first round bye (which I think they can do given their schedule and their current level of play) then I think they should and will rest their starters.
Going 16-0 is kind of a meaningless feat, because we saw just how meaningless it was for the Pats. It makes no sense to have an undefeated regular season just to lose in the playoffs or superbowl. I don't think anyone cares as much about that feat. Some do, but I am not one of them. Sure it might put them in the record books as being the 3rd team to have done so (Dolphins and Pats) but what does it mean if they do it and then lose the super bowl? I doubt they will do it, and they shouldn't try.
As far as their record and playoff prediction, right now I think they will be 12-4 and probably get a first round bye. My guess is they face the Pats or the Jets in the AFC Championship game. I think the Jets ultimately get to the super bowl regardless of the Ravens however.

Possible, but not likely. Add Seattle and San Fran- believe it or not to the 'maybe' category. Remember, Seattle beat New Orleans in the playoffs last year, and San Fran is improving under Harbaugh (who knows his brother well)- by the time they meet, San Fran could be trouble for the Ravens.

Texans are going to be VERY hard to beat. Everyone is still dismissing the Texans because the Colts are Manning-less and that is a good point, but the facts remain that the Texans had 3rd ranked offense last year and this year have a power house defense to complement the offense.

no. i can see them losing 3 or 4 games. then some fluke games like cleveland once (probably not, but i wouldnt count the browns out... thats a 1st). maybe they can, who knows, but its almost impossible. only 2 teams post merger have done it.

Nah they will probably lose 4-5 games.

Patriots lost to the browns last season any team can lose to any team on any given Sunday

most likely not... they could hold a winning streak for some of the season but its highly unlikely that theyll be undefeated
