Ramadan: College/University students and graduates, how do you make...?

Wa'alikum Aslaaam Dear friend, hope you are in the best of health and Eman Insha-Allah :-)

You have a University student here lol. Although am living in an Islamic country, my University which is a very well-known one does not offer Islamic studies. I mean, this is an Islamic country and how come it doesn't offer any major in Islam?..Subhana Allah. I am studying "Journalism" something i don't really like and i've no other choice too because we don't have many majors. But Alhumdu Lillah, i am trying to get along with it now because Journalists play a role in their society and make changes through their stories.

Most Journalists are expatriates here and most have no idea what goes on in our lives. The majority do not read here because the stories are repetitive and barely connected to our lives. You barely get to read about Islam in Newspaper. I have hope InshaAllah once more Emirati become journalists and indulge in writing about their societies, problems, solutions and reminders, more people will start to pick up a newspaper and read because this is our country and we know better than anyone what goes inside. My friend and I switched to this major when we felt that this is the way to bring some changes in our society. We talk a lot about our societal issues and how to resolve them. If Allah wills, we hope to revive some of the teachings that most have forgotten; Insha-Allah we will encourage the country to improve the teaching system and offer Islamic studies rather than teachings us about wester society. I have soo many dreams Sis..my friend and I just hope that we do something or anything tiny to change our community or at least change the way people think here Insha-Allah

Check along with your school. I would not suppose they could as their fame as a situation for severe educational paintings could be at stake. I do not suppose you would do the paintings required of each stages while. I am a grad scholar and have no idea in which I could discover the time to paintings on an undergrad measure too! You need to have graduated with an undergrad measure earlier than you'll take the grad degree in that subject. As a grad scholar, you begin everywhere .... pay your school, and many others at an additional degree. If you desire to be an undergrad in an additional subject, you would need to pay a moment school after which have the time to do the entire paintings at that degree, too! Plus as a grad scholar you commonly have instructing/study tasks furthermore on your possess paintings. And the paintings load on the grad degree is noticeably bigger than that as an undergrad.

Wa alaikum sala.Really various actions in our lives should be in the name or for the sake of Allah so it will be included in ibadah (good deeds) such as in our niyat of prayer that our shalats,lives,ibadah and death are for Allah ( inna shalati,wa nusuki wa mah yaya wa msa mati lillahi robbil alameen)

Obtaining knowledge(studying) for dunya and akherat lives are included in ibadah too.Working at the office is inc;uded in ibadah too.The best person is a person who can give benefits for others during his/her life. Based on hadith we should seek for knowledge since in the cradle up to almost die even we should go to China country Allah will give a higher grade to someone who has more knowledge.

We should study well and practice it in our lives so it is just like a tree which gives delicious fruits

This is because Islam is not just a religion, but a complete code of life.

wa alikum asalaam sis... i always look 4wd to making my subject helpful somehow to aid the weightage of my good deeds... you are right v should do so because we are not in ths world for good....
