2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity,141 tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered."142 They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.
2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God's will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord's Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.
2359 Homosexual persons are called to chastity. By the virtues of self-mastery that teach them inner freedom, at times by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection.

Homosexuality is condemned by the Bible:
Genesis 19:1-29; Leviticus 18:22; 20:13; Deuteronomy 23:17; Judges 19:22; 1 Kings 15:11-12; 22:46; Ezekiel 16:49,50; Romans 1:18-32; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; 1 Timothy 1:9-10; 2 Peter 2:4-8; Jude 1:7.

Personally I say "live and let live" about homosexuality. I won't oppose them, but I won't help their cause either. They can do what they want.
As for getting into heaven - that's a more difficult question. Homosexuality itself doesn't condemn you to hell, and I believe that you are judged on your actions in life rather than whether someone managed to convince you to believe in God. The question then is, are homosexual acts a sin? The Bible certainly says so, but not everyone follows the Bible and even Christians don't follow all of it (such as stoning women for adultery. That's kind of frowned upon by Christians and everyone else). Personally I am not so sure that homosexual acts are the sin that they are made out to be. Why would God create someone with an almost certain ticket to hell? That doesn't make sense.
So to answer your question, yes, I think they can get into heaven.

It does not matter what priests, Church Leaders or Christians say about homosexuality. The only thing which counts is what God has to say through the Bible. - God has clearly stated in the Bible that all have sinned, and that the wages of sin is Spiritual death ( Eternity In The Lake of Fire), and that the only way to escape that sentence is by believing in the substitutionary death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and repenting of our sins and becoming a follower of Jesus. Homosexuality is only one of many sins, but it is particularly made clear in the Scriptures that it is one of the most abhorrent to God. If a homosexual repents and ceases to practise that act, God will accept him/her just as He does any other repentant sinner.

Homosexuality is a psychological mental disorder. Not unlike other pathological mental disorders, such as kleptomania, paranoia, and over thousands of other label mentel disorders which definitely affect peoples behavior. Like all people they are to be loved regardless of the degree of mental neurosis and/or psychosis.

a christian or a pastor or a priest or anyone elses idea of homosexuality means NOTHING
GOD Himself says its an Abomination in His sight and ALL that do such things ,WILL have their part in the lake of fire.....seems to me since HE is the One who Judges us , its His view that counts !!!

Homosexuality is an abomination in the eyes of God.
One who is given over to sodomy, lesbianism, etc cannot be saved.
Romans 1 says that God has given them over and given them up.
Now someone who is just tempted by homosexuality I believe can be saved.
But the wicked homos that parade down the street in their sin are doomed.

May I please have the honor of pointing out to the masses the following:
1) The Bible forbids the marriage of a man to his sister or half-sister in as many places and as many times as it forbids homosexuality. Abraham married his half-sister. Abraham went to Heaven.
2) The Bible forbids the marriage of a man to two women that are sisters in as many places and as many times as it forbids homosexuality. Jacob married Rachel and Leah, who were sisters. Jacob went to Heaven.
3) Jesus says in Mark 12 that it is more important to love God and to love your neighbor than it is to follow any law in any other part of the Bible, or even to repent for your sins ("all the burnt offerings and sacrifices").
These three observations leave me with one conclusion: God will forgive you for whatever you do, even if you do not repent from it or leave that course of action, if you have sought a relationship with Him and loved the people around you to the best of your ability.
