Is this the right reply to . . .?
I sent a text to someone saying "what are you doing pregnant again?"
the reply was
"like you can talk"
the night before I had had a miscarriage and didnt know I was pregnant until it had happened. My hubby told them that I had had a miscarriage and thats the response she sent back.
Does anyone else think that this is completely unfeeling?
Was it meant to hurt me?
I had an IUD inserted (called copper coil in USA i think) so i wouldnt fall pregnant
Have just found out I was pregnant because it went through my uterus and is in my tummy and I now need surgery to get it removed.

Well, it depends on how you meant for your text to come off as... To me it seemed more like a joking kinda text to a good friend and she just took unwarranted offence to it, Maybe because she isn't happy about being pregnant again. If it was meant as a joke then tell her you were only trying to play around with her and meant nothing by it.
Her saying that back was a little mean after knowing what you just went trough... I would of asked what you meant before saying anything to harsh.

If someone sent me a text saying 'what are you doing pregnant again?' I probably be rude back too. Your text was a bit rude, most people congratulate their friends. I admit hers was below the belt after hearing you'd just had a miscarriage, but well - you were pregnant too!

most probably. it's like saying "look who's talking" and that's mostly like a harsh-ish comeback.
