tax question for unemployment tax cut...?

ive been unemployed all of 2011,i got unemployment ,they ask if i wanted taxes taken from my unemployment checks,so i had taxes cut from each check ,will i get that money back come income tax time?

    Unemployment is taxable income. Depending on how much you got, and the rest of your personal situation, they might have deducted more than you owe. If so, you'd get any overpayment refunded.

    You file a tax return and see if you owe tax, if you have enough withholding to cover tax due, whether you are due a refund

    Depends on how much income you have at the end of the year and how much taxes you pay.

    it all depends on how much your total gross is, the personal exemptions you have, the standard deduction you are eligible to claim and possibly if you are eligible for EIC
