Good fabric glue for stretch denim?

I need some good glue that will hold small rhinestones onto stretch denim shorts. It's for a Halloween costume, and I used an all purpose glue for some and they fall off when I put the shorts on. Any ideas??

E-6000 will glue rhinestones onto most things that need a bit of flexibility, but I wouldn't swear it would work on stretch jean shorts. I did see a product at one of the fabric shops that's designed for affixing patches (such as police patches and military patches) to uniforms. That might work for you.

    Have you considered sew-on rhinestones?

I use a product called "Liquid Stitch" to repair tears or seams that have ripped out in clothing. It dries clear and is washable. Something like that may keep your rhinestones on the clothing. You can usually find it at sewing stores or some Wal*Marts.
