Who sucks more, Jay Cutler or the Bears offensive line?
6 sacks, 3 of them in a row when the Bears played the saints. That is pathetic but who is to blame?
The line sure as hell did not do there job but Cutler at times held the ball way to long even when he should have (and other QBs would have) thrown it away and yet the one time he did try to get it out was when he made a dumb move to flip out short before he went down outside the pocket and got flagged for intentional grounding...
So to bring us back to my question, who sucks more Jay Cutler or his line>

The O-Line... this isn't even a question.
It's hard to gauge how long you have until you get blind-sided from the collapsing pocket when you've been hit a dozen times. So, you can do one of two things, you can panic under imagined pressure, miss key throws and make some poor decisions (like, say... Matt Ryan against the Eagles) or you can go through your progression and make a good throw should one of your terrible receivers gets open, and risk the sack.
If the O-Line was of average quality, Cutler would be praised for his poise in the pocket should he get the occasional pressure, but because he's constantly harassed, it looks like he "holds on too long."

Both...
No I am only kidding.. The truthful answer is, Jay Cutler doesn't have an offensive line and he doesn't have WR's to work with. I watched some of the game, and I noticed that he was frustrated on the sidelines. He was frustrated because his offensive line did not nor do they protect him. The biggest mistake the Bears could have done as a team was to get rid of Olin Kreutz. Kreutz was their best offensive lineman, but now he is a Saint in New Orleans. I don't really question Jay Cutler's ability, because he has a great arm, and he can be accurate. But how can he have time to throw and be accurate when he is constantly having to run out of the pocket, or the pocket collapses on him? The 6 sacks that occured, was a symptom of his o-line.
As far as your question about throwing it away? Well I think that is kind of a moot point because you can only throw the ball away to a target. Lets say he does throw the ball away to avoid a sack. At some point he will be called for intentional grounding meaning a loss of yards or downs. So I think yes he can get rid of it more, but he needs time to throw or move. Its not all of his fault, but I think the majority belongs to the o-line.

the o line. easy call. yeah, he probably should have gotten rid of the ball, but he got sacked 6 times. last season, 50 times. i watched part of the game and he got blind sided a few times and the linemen pretty much didnt even come off the line. the d end basically got a gift. and i saw him scrambling for his life avoiding 4 defenders, almost got sacked and nearly made the play while being hit. of course cutler is at some fault, but dude, when i watched, the o line was TERRIBLE!

Their O line is pretty bad. However, the Saints' defense was pretty maligned after the loss to Green Bay so Greg Williams decided to bring it this week. It just happened that it was against the Bears.
