Post-miscarriage question?
I had a D&C just over 5 weeks ago and still have had no period or even signs of a period. For about a week, I've had weird creamy white discharge, no odor or anything. This is not really normal for me. My cycles have always been pretty regular. Does anyone have any idea when I might expect my period?

First of all I'm very sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago as well, and I still have not ovulated, though I have creamy white "discharge" as well. It's called cervical fluid and it's actually a sign of fertility! It's NOT weird at all! In fact it could mean your body is gearing up to ovulate again.
After any pregnancy, your cycles can change. Especially after a miscarriage/D&C. I'm hoping to ovulate any day now as well.
Once you ovulate, the creamy CF should go away within a few days. And counting from O to period should be anywhere between 12-16 days, this is your luteal phase.
I really encourage you to check out this site, the women there have helped me tremendously. I also recommend you start tracking your basal body temperature and keep track of that cervical fluid! It can help you see if you are ovulating. You can chart right on the site. Hope to see you there!
