Where can i buy a cheap 12 gauge double barreled side-by-side shotgun?

I am a harsh critic of guns I don't like and I also shout the praises of the guns that I do like. I'm not crazy about all the product that Stoeger sells, but the Stoeger side-by-side shotguns are probably the absolute best value in a double barrel shotgun in the world right now.

Richard's Sporting Goods usually runs sales on them at this time of year for the hunting season and they can generally be had for about $325 plus tax. You just can't beat that price for a durable shotgun like their Uplander series.

I need something below $400.

I got a nice O/U over the summer for $150 I had been looking around but had a hard time finding anything. Surprisingly, my neighbor had some and he was willing to sell me as he had never used this one. Go to a local hunting club or gun club meeting if any are in the area. Go to your local sporting good store and ask around... put a thing up on Craigslist... just put the word out there and you may be surprised at what you find.

I believe Rossi or Uberti made a reproduction of the old west stagecoach for 280. I bought a chinese model for 300, but the craftmanship on it is very rough. Uberti makes great reproductions of wild west guns, which I own a few, and I'd advise checking them out. Just shop around and pick the one you like.
