How can I cancel a passport application registered online after 2 months? Pls help!!!! :(?
I submitted my passport application (normal) for a change in my Surname and removal of Spouse name on 05th Aug 2011 in chennai. I have contacted and submitted all my documents to the local police station several times, I also went to the Commissioner's office (IS dept) and they tell me that they have not yet received my application (after almost 2 months)
I am getting re-married soon and I have to travel abroad.. Can I cancel the application and re-submit in my native place (Kerala) under Tatkaal?

It will not help. You will have to follow up on your existing application. If you will re-submit a new application that will make further delays.
