We should never have been there in the first place. I think the majority of the people in Iraq and Afghanistan would like us out, and I think our own military would like us out. There comes a time when we have to decide if losing more and more lives on all sides, and causing more and more maiming and psychological damage is worth it. There comes a time when we have to face facts and decide if we are really making a positive difference, or are we simply costing lives, spending money, and angering the citizens of those countries. Is oil really worth it? I think that is the main reason we are in the middle east at all. You'll notice we don't invade countries that don't have tons of oil.

this is an impressive commentary and assessment. even even with the indisputable fact that a hypothetical state of affairs, yet strategically this is extremely like the xerox replica of the U. S. invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, with Iran sandwiched in between. the U. S. won't tolerate a similar concern for long, and can work together the Iranian forces no longer in straightforward terms in Canada and Mexico, notwithstanding it would additionally attack Iran rapidly. i'm no longer asserting that Iran has been completely impartial throughout our invasion of its buddies, all of us recognize that Iran has provided arm to rebellions/freedom combatants? in the two international places and particularly in Iraq. yet i'm particular that the U. S. reaction to such threat so close to to its borders, could be plenty greater suitable than in simple terms imparting some freedom combatants/rebellions? with hands. curiously, Iran's protection rigidity capability outranks the two Mexico and Canada.(please see the link published) Regards.

I would say, 'Out, the quicker the better..!'

Trouble is, it's the bad Guys who will inevitably take over and that does have a knock-on effect on our own security. Their unique brand of Fundamentalism is going to be an ongoing threat to The West and to Democracy all over the world. This isn't some airy fairy pie in the sky ideology, it is a genuine threat to The West, so the job has to be finished.

Watch this and decide for yourselves what a future might look like if 'They' take over..

    Get out of both immediately.

GWB said there were wmds in Iraq ... even as early as JFK there was photographic evidence as a possibility. He gambled ... he lost.

I'm undecided on the Afghanistan declaration.

The terrorists targeted the twin towers to attack the symbolic American prosperity ... we've been in economic turmoil ever since. I'm sure they think they're winning enough too even bother to strike again.

Too many died already. The Soviets got out of Afghanistan. We too must admit it has us beat! Iraq IS getting better. Always sad (I know Iraqis here!), when you here expats saying certain things WERE better under Saddam! God help us? What is all the loss of life for?

Personally, I don't feel that we should have been there to begin with, and I have doubts as to whether there ever were any weapons of mass destruction, I think it was all conjured up to increase the costs of oil and gas.

Sorry, but no. What will happen to the people who depend on us being there? The Brotherhood will just take over.

We have thrown away precious lives and much money for what benefit? We shouldn't have gone there to begin with. Greed is running (and ruining) this country and this world.
