My Debit Card is not working for online payment?

Its just a regular Chase Visa debit card, which the online store says that it does accept, but won't for some reason even though I'm typing in the info correctly...

    what is the error you get?

    are you telling the online store its a credit you are using

    maybe you are telling the store its debit maybe thats why?

    when you use your debit card online you have to use/say its a credit -not a debit card

    Also u can activate your a/c for internet banking(if the bank has the facility).Then u can pay through your debit card.

    You would need to contact the merchant and see why it isn't accepting it.

    Not every debit card will work online.
