The scripture usually used is our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and from that it's said we need to take care of our bodies, which would be abstaining from drug abuse. But there is no scripture per se that forbids drug use, but there are sciptures that talk about alcohol use, and to avoid strong drink. That kind of ties together.

Rev 21:8 "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
See that word "sorcerers"? It comes from the word pharmakeus, meaning (a drug, i.e. spell-giving potion)
Galatians 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, [fn] fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

I don't know if the Bible says anything specifically about any drugs but it does say to treat your body with respect, like a temple of God's. That means no drugs.

I don't know what the bible says about drugs, but I do know that drugs can lead you down a path that you won't wanna go...one you might not be able to turn around from.

It's a stupid conscious decision to harm your body and deplete your existence. So you're a "naturally selected" candidate for evolution, congrats. Even though it was "evolution" that "produced" your consciousness out of nothingness to begin with so you could in turn deplete your existence ... wtf?
From a religious standpoint your body is the temple in which you worship God, so why would you harm it? And many things harm your body, not just drugs.

Drugs are not a "sin" because there is no such thing as sin. I do not think its a good idea to do drugs it can mess up your future.

They didn't do drugs in Israel 2000 years ago. It most certainly is not, or wouldn't be condoned by the Bible. There are several passages condemning alcohol.

Your body is the temple of God. Whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Drugs destroy and damage. They can't be used by anyone who has respect for their body.

The Bible tells us we have to remain sober. That mean clean of any drugs that cloud your thinking.

yes, I believe the bible says to be vigilant and sober because the devil comes to you like a lion, seeking to devour you. Also, it says not to get involved in sorcery, and if the people who used it saw strange things (illusions) then they most likely were high on something.
