How do I rip a burned (burnt?) DVD?
I need to rip a copy of a DVD to put on Facebook. It isn't a movie or anything, it's me singing at church, and some of my out of town relatives wanted to see it, so I said I would post it. But I have no idea how to rip a DVD.
ok, but how do I do that with Windows Media Player? It only says I can rip audio cds.

Put it in the disk drive, and a menu should appear saying "open this in:...", or it will usually open in Media Player.
Go to "My Computer" and there should be a picture of a disk in there, showing the CD. Just save that to a folder and go from there.
EDIT: Hmm... Maybe you could try Windows MovieMaker, if you have that or some other media program.

What operating system are you using? Is it mac or windows? Then go to !my computer! .....it's a computer icon at the top of your screen. Open it up and go to cd/dvd and then open that. Then drag the file to the desktop. It's not as complicated as you think. If the file is not avi....you may need conversion software.

Popping it in your laptop will do, the WMP will rip it into the library. if it's copyright protected use
Nero
or
Download the VLC player. (VideoLAN)
GO to oldversion.com I'm not sure which one I have but go to youtube and search your title Q. That's how I learned how to do it. there's a step by step too complicated to type but a vid will teach you easily! =)
