Navy A-school- receiving packages?

im in Dep for the Navy and my A-school is in Great lakes, is their a certain limit to what my family can send me as in snack packages?

a certain amount of pounds or restrictions.?

    Once you are in A-school you can receive packages (contrary to what the others said). I sent my husband several packages while he was there. I never heard about any kind of limit as far as weight. Don't let them send you too many snacks though because you still need to maintain your physical standards, but a good care package is always a good thing.

    Letters only! If they do send anything else odds r it will be thrown away! U will be fine u don't need any goodies any ways! Your gunna be in training so quit worring about civilian remedies and focus on training Bec odds r your gunna be deploying within the next year any ways..take my advice, I'm a marine and its saved my life more than I can remember just Bec I didn't worrie about home and focused on my training.

    During BMT you can only receive letters.

    While during A schooling you can receive other stuff; cellphones, computers.. ect

    They cannot send you care packages. Only letters.
