Ramadan: What kind of death do you wish to have?

Asalamu Aleikom dear siblings in Islam,

My question is inspired by the recent death of a young brother in our community who struggled silently and patiently through a painful illness, and when they uncovered his face at his grave they found him smiling. Mashallah...a tough Dunya yet such a peaceful Akhirah.

"Every soul shall have a taste of death; then to us shall ye return." 
[Quran 29:57]

What kind of death do you wish to have? And are you making dua for it? I know we tend to think more about the Dunya and Akhirah than how we're going to depart, but since it's guaranteed each one of us will face death, it's important we start implementing it in our dua.

May Allah grant us all beautiful deaths and unite us in a pleasing Akhirah with our Creator and all the Sabiqoon, Ameen. Inna le Allah wa inna elayhi raje'oon, please keep all our dead Muslim brothers and sisters in your dua~

death of martyr.inshallah
i make dua of hazarat umar(radi ALLAH hu anhu)..............dua meaning is that may ALLAH give me death of martyr and may my death occur in city of prophet(that is madinah)

see how beautiful is islam that by just doing good intention u get reward.alhamdullillah

benefit of this intention is even if a person die on bed due to this intention the reward is of martyr

also if doing jihad if one's die i have heard................not sure about it ................that the process of death becomes easy for the person...................as u know the WAY SOUL IS RELEASED FROM PHYSICAL BODY IS VERY PAINFUL

may allah keep us on emaan and straight path path till our death.ameen

a reminder to all especially me as i am writing it that is why
we all should at every time watch for our deeds that if v die doing ...................when v r doing CERTAIN ACT................V WOULD GET UP IN SAME SITUATION/CONDITION ON DAY OF JUDGEMENT..SO,WE SHOULD ALWAYS TRY TO REMAIN AWAY FROM bad deeds ,bad people,bad places...........................so,that v won't die during a music show,doing chat with bad people and all other bad situations

I wish to have a death in my sleep at a very old age. Before I die sleep, I also wish that I did not have any plans for the next day, or any day. So that I can peacefully die with nothing to cling on to from Life.

I want to die in sujood during my sincerest prayer, or while I'm doing Hajj or Umrah! Inshallah.
