can i break a tylenol with codeine 3 pill in half?

in the past i had nausea from tylenol with codeine after a surgery, not sure the strength. I have an arm injury and pretty nagging pain, so the doc prescribed cod #3. he told me the #3 isn't that strong and probably won't make me feel sick, but i think i'd prefer a half dose just in case.

The pills are not scoredis it o to break in half and jsut take a half dose>

    You can. It is easier with a pill splitter, available at any pharmacy or drug store.

    yes but it will explode and nothing will stop it.
