That's it?! Terrible way to end a wonderful old show. Are you upset about the final episode of AMC?

Just like always the soaps get no respect.....and this was no exception.

I was very disappointed in the final episode since I won't be watching AMC on-line. I think the nice speech by Tad Martin followed by a memory lane montage of all the people who weren't at the Chandler party would have been a nice way to go out. I also thought the whole Jackson/Erica scene at the end was trite and cheesy-gee haven't we seen that somewhere before? Real original writers. So here's my ending:

JR shot himself-good riddance. AJ grows up to be the most functional member of the Chandler family ever-Lesbian momma's and all.

Erica goes to LA and has a fabulous life without the whiny Jackson holding her back

That last person is Dixie's sister. Wasn't her name Belle and didn't she die in the poisoning craze on the fusion women? She will make it back to Pine Valley just in time for Dixie & Tad's wedding.

Jack gets his wish to settle down with someone grounded and boring-he marries Crystal.

Life continues on in Pine Valley & everyone lives happily ever after.

The End.

Not to defend ABC, but they didn't really have much choice since the show is expected to return online. Because of this, they couldn't give us a genuine ending as it was the case with Guiding Light, As the World Turns and the rest of the cancelled soaps.

But if for any reasons, AMC doesn't return in the future, then I agree with all of you that this is a terrible way to end a soap.

YES! I am beside myself with anger right now! I don't even know what to say! How could they do this to us?

We are left to hang (uhh yeah, unless we go to cyberland, which I am not a fan of doing....just to see ONLY Cameron Matheson??? His face is already everywhere!) Did Erica get shot by JR??? Did Tad and/or Dixie??? How did the rest of my BEST FRIENDS react to the shooting...if it did occur??? Who the h*ll is the other person that David saved??? I thought I figured out it was Babe afterall!

Yes I am. Too many unanswered questions. I was also hoping to see Jack's kids, Reggie and Lily for the last show. Loved Jack's comment to Erica at the end.

I loved Jackson's answer to the old bag but I really did not like J.R.'s running around behind the wall's then at the end hearing a gun shot. That really stunk ! Why couldn't they have just ended it in a nice way after 41 years.
