How do I know what the applicable sales tax is?

I'm getting a subscription for teenvogue, it's $10, however it says to add applicable sales tax. How do I know how much the sales tax is?

Update:

I live in California and the state tax is 9.25%, so would I pay $10.93 ?

    Sure does look like you have the amount correct for your situation very good at least you were smart enough to figure it out and get it right.

    (9.25%) * 10.00 = 0.925

    .93 + 10.00 = 10.93

    you need to know what your state sales tax rate is and if you don't know by now, go to your state web site and search for the sale tax agency
