Things to do in spain?
So I just booked a holiday... to Spain :-) Its a pretty quick holiday unfortunately, but couldn't break the budget -for 3 weeks in December.
My boyfriend lived there for seven years & has family there, so we will have free accommodation whist in Madrid - so will stay there for around one week. What are the best things to do in & around Madrid?
Also am planning to check out Italy & France - any suggestions on must-do's there?
Have a two day stop over in Kuala Lumpar on the way back - any suggestions on things to do there? Please?

Where are you from that you are taking a stop in Kuala Lumpur?
Australia? And, of a three-week holiday, you have, what? a full day travel (you'll be like a wet dishrag when you arrive, and completely jet lagged!) So, you can figure about a day in bed the first day there! Then, a full-day travel back, and two days in Kuala Lumpur...so...you've already taken up about a week! A week in Madrid, and then you want to go to France and Italy, too? Do you think Europe is an amusement park? And you can just spend a day or two on each ride? it's not that small.
If you have less than three weeks for Spain, spend it all in Spain. Spend a week in Barcelona, and the rest of your time in Sevilla/Granada.
What to do in Madrid? Your boyfriend's family can't tell you what to do/see there?
Don't miss the Prado, the Palacio Real, the Retiro park. Enjoy the food, take a little time to do so.
Barcelona: Sagrada Familia, Casa Milá, Ramblas, Barrà Gotic, shopping, beach (how much time you want to spend there depends on you, your likes, and the time of year) Parc Güell, BoquerÃa, Jazz clubs, other music clubs, the Palau Musica, multiple art museums. Take your pick!
Granada is easy: Spend at least half a day in the Alhambra, then go to the Cathedral, or wander around town, walk or take the bus up to the Mirador de San Nicolás, and then walk down, have tea at one of the Moroccan tea houses. Go to a flamenco show in the Gypsy quarter.
Sevilla: Cathedral, climb the tower, Alcázar, Parque MarÃa Luisa, wander around and get lost in the Barrio Santa Cruz. Casa de Pilatos, wander around the rest of the center of town.
