  • My boss wants to talk to me..?

I have two bosses, they have booked a half an hour appointment with me tomorrow - to talk to me about 'staffing contracts'. (I'm currently on a 6 month contract until 31 December).

All of the feedback that I have been given so far has been really positive.

I asked what this was possibly about to my boss today, and she said that its more about 'where the business is going', and that I have nothing to worry about.

What on earth do you think they want to talk to me about? Am I being overly suspicious? Anxious without good reason? Or should I be concerned?

  • Things to do in spain?

So I just booked a holiday... to Spain :-) Its a pretty quick holiday unfortunately, but couldn't break the budget -for 3 weeks in December.

My boyfriend lived there for seven years & has family there, so we will have free accommodation whist in Madrid - so will stay there for around one week. What are the best things to do in & around Madrid?

Also am planning to check out Italy & France - any suggestions on must-do's there?

Have a two day stop over in Kuala Lumpar on the way back - any suggestions on things to do there? Please?

  • In two minds about having another baby?

I'm 24 and I have a four year old child who I share the care of with her father, and whilst I love her, I find her very difficult. I work a lot in a job that I love (it would be flexible for family life as well). I have two years left of my second (very demanding) uni degree. I also have some travelling that I want to do (although I have done a bit, I have a few more destinations in mind)

My experience of parenting her was negative when she was a baby, as I was a young single mother. I find that I am easily stressed by parenting.

My now partner is desperate for a baby. It is very important to him as a person to be a father, and it is important in his culture to be a father. He has asked me to give him a baby as he is 30 now doesn't want to wait for a long time. He loves children and he is great with my daughter. I know that he'll find joy in it, and he will help me.

Can I do the above things with a child?

I'm worried that it will negatively impact my existing child, as she may be confused as to why she doesn't live with me all the time and feel hurt by this...

I'm worried that I will get negative responses from my very conservative/judgemental family.

What do you think? Please give me some logical advice.

  • What can I make in a hotel - uncooked food, or cooking with only kettle?

OK, so I work in a homelessness service. A lot of clients of mine, enter Crisis Care which means that they end up in a motel. These are really cheap and kind of not somewhere where people want to be. There is a further problem - many clients report that they have to spend all of their money (which isn't a lot) on takeaway food - as they can't cook in the room (yes, they do know about hot meals at various spots provided by various charities - but often dont have transport). Anyhows.... the rooms usually just have a kettle in them. So, cooking choices are very limited. I'm wanting to create a bit of a menu of ideas for families in Crisis Care accommodation that they can make - with the only available thing to use being hot water. I know about two minute noodles and rice, but that is it.

  • What do you read, and why?

As a topic for an English Literacy unit for my uni, I've been asked "What do I read, and why". I'm having difficulties expressing myself, and am hoping to gain some insight from what others read and why, i.e. newspapers, books, recipes, internet forums, work things, genres of novels

  • ANOVA with SPSS help?

Hi, I've written a one page report on ANOVA and I'm hoping someone could have a look to make sure that it'll pass when I hand it in on Monday. I'm unsure! If anyone could please help me, it'd be much appreciated. Please email Rhanijade08@live.com.au if you can.

  • What do you think of this poem?

Can someone please help me improve on this? It's called Sapna, meaning Dream in Hindi

    Creak, the tiresome timber bar,

Moans as my feet scrape across,

I haul myself from distance afar,

    It's throws, long and sorrowful,

I tremor in the gaze of shame,

    A nail protrudes and rips,

As I am tricked by the atlas of solitude,

    Jagging into supple flesh,

    Showing nothing of the magnitude,

Yet, a mere echo of my heart,

    Determination my sole companion,

For a voyage of the heart,

This meandering, a spillage of the spirit,

The rope of connection, tattered apart,

I long for the sheath of your protection

Refuge from the blistering wind amiss,

Dominated by the desire, respite from your absence,

Natures whip lashes, exposure is furious,

For unspeakable actions, a lover's blasphemy,

    Our souls entwined once more
