i was a student in the UK and now in the Philippines cos my visa expired. Is there a way for me to go back?

I have NVQ 2 &3 for health and social care, Narik paper, good educational background, fluent in English as I lived in USA for 8 years. How can I get back to UK without being a student? Thanks

Simple answer is get more qualified. NVQ levels 2 & 3 are not high enough for you to qualify for a work visa. You need a degree level qualification at least. You also need qualifications and experience in one of only 121 occupations that qualify for a work visa.

Care workers are not an occupation shortage so your employer will have to advertise the post for four weeks across the job Centre network adn in trade and national press and can only offer the job to you if he can satisfy UKBA that not one single suitably qualified UK or EEA national applied.

Here's UKBA's guidance on care worker posts.
