2005 Dodge Diesel fuelling issue.?
i have a 2005 dodge diesel 4x4 that is a pain in the backside to get filled to the top. from when it kicks off it takes 26 litres ( almost 7 gallons for those in the US ) before it is full and it can take up to 20 minutes to get it there. most often it's not really an issue but in parts of BC it can be an awful long ways between places to fill-up and the little extra is a big plus especially in poor weather with bad roads.
does anyone have a suggestion for a fix or for an after market solution you would be willing to share? i would appreciate it and it would add many hours to do other things than stand beside my truck holding a nozzle. considering i fill-up twice per week it would free-up over 14 hours per year that i could be fishing.
thank you for any help

Most fuel tanks have substantial vapor expansion space at the top, so it's unlikely you will ever get it filled to it rated capacity. I have a 31 gallon tank that never takes more than 25 or so.
