amc you was upset how it ended?

I really enjoyed the whole last two weeks. We've been told for months now that the show was going to end with a cliffhanger, so I'm not sure why people are so upset that it did. We already know Jacob Young and Debbie Morgan are moving on to different soaps, and several others have retired and returned only for the finale, so, if and when it begins broadcasting online, I think we're going to find that either JR shot and killed himself, which is what I thought all week, especially after he "saw" Babe, or he hit Angie, or Erica. (Especially if Susan Lucci does not join the show online. I still hoped/expected that there would have been several gunshots, and was surprised there was just the one. I LOVED and was VERY shocked, when Jack turned to Erica and basically told her he didn't give a damn what she wanted, and walked out on her. We knew that not everyone was going to get a happy ending. I also loved Erica's last line, something about not wanting things to end that way. Overall, I think it was done really well.

The show literally ended with a bang! I thought the ending was clever and kinda tongue and cheek giving a shout out to "Gone With the Wind", "Dallas", and "The Sapranos". Yeah, I can see how people were upset, because we all need closure and an ending in our lives. But I think AMC was telling it's fans "Hey it's over, but it's not over". So I enjoyed the ending. Loved the cliff hanger and will be watching online in January!!

It doesn't bother me that they ended on a cliffhanger, it bothers me that they ended on THAT cliffhanger. Jacob Young isn't going over to the web series, so ending the show with a JR centric cliffhanger when the role will have to be recast makes little sense to me. It's going to be hard enough to get people to adjust to the new format, putting a new face in a legacy role, and having the introductory storyline centered around that character (after months of hiatus no less) is just not idea imo.

I'm fine with them ending on a cliffhanger, but the cliffhanger they chose was not a good one nor well thought out imo.

It was a poor ending. It should have ended on a happy note. Stuart and Marion weren't there and the party was suppose to honor him. Liked Jack finally telling Erica he was sick of her.

I did............ they know that some of the people were not going to Sign on to do the web show...........i guess they could always re-cast those cast member that chose not to come over........ but really to end like that....

I do have to say i was so glad they let Tad (michael knight) the touching and last speech...

I guess for now we have to wonder who JR shot. Maybe he shot himself? That's what I'm going with until/ if it comes to the internet. So far only 2 actors have signed contracts. I think if they don't get more of the cast signed up...we'll have to get used to all new actors or it won't be run.

I Hated it. What kind of ending was that? Stewart didn't even get to go to the Party!!!!!!!!!!! Then Jack Left Erica and a gun goes off? WTH? What are we supposed to think of that? Hopefully it continues on line!!!

I thought it was disrespectful to a soap that aired for 41 years, it centered on JR and his hatred and really didn't do the soap Justice. I hated it.
