what is better att uverse or dsl?
I recently switched from Comcast do ATT DSL and I am regretting it. Comcast was faster, but the connection constantly dropped. Now that I think about it, maybe it was just my router. I have ATT DSL service and it sucks. I can't watch Netflix or anything streaming. It takes too long and buffers constantly. That is why I dropped Comcast was to have cheaper internet and dropped cable for Netflix and Hulu Plus. Should I try U Verse or switch back to Comcast. That is the only thing offered in my city. IT SUCKS

I also had connection dropouts with Comcast, every day--sometimes 2 or 3 times per day, about 3 to 6 minutes each. Comcast said it was my computer. It wasn't. The dropouts were out on the line.
I changed to AT&T U-verse, with the 6 mb/s option. No more dropouts (same computer).
Streaming video can be a challenge for DSL or U-verse if you don't have one of the higher speed options. You might check with AT&T to see if you can up your speed. Even their fastest speed should cost you less than Comcast, and you wouldn't be suffering their dropouts again, if your earlier experience plus mine are indicators.

Comcast would def be your best bet for streaming media over the internet. If you were having problems with it, it is most likely a problem with your hardware or installation. That stuff can be fixed. AT&T can't even come close to Comcast for speed and bandwidth. Hope this helps.
