Navy Boot Camp (RTC) Graduation in the winter?

i leave for RTC October 26th (31 days) and i figure ill be graduating the end of December. ive heard rumors saying that i will probably graduate early for the holidays. is this true or will i be in there for X-mas and new years?

    you WILL be there for the holidays. Stepson was not only there for Thanksgiving , Christmas and new years, he was not allowed to call home on any of them.

    Since Xmas falls on a Sunday there will be exactly zero change on routine.. as any Major Holiday is treated like a Sunday. if you have completed battle stations by then you will most likely be allowed to call home.

    You heard wrong. Navy boot camp, like all of them, requires a certain number of training days. You'll stay at Great Lakes until you've completed every one of them. Count on being there for Christmas and New Years if that what it takes.
