Who owns this section of land?
I was wondering who owns these parts of land. Is it a local person? The council? I'm thinking of investing in this land, but first I would need to know who owns these parts.

You should be able to get this information from the Land Registry (in the UK), and if you have any problems doing this, from the solicitor who would be conveyancing. Any solicitor invovled in the sale would have to research this and would have to let you know about issues around the sale of the property. I am not legally qualified, but I have moved a few times in my life.

All of the United States and parts of Mexico? I expect there are very many owners that you would need to buy from.
