Tattoo pain question?

Rib tattoos definitley hurt the most out of all spots you can get tattooed. The foot is also a pretty painful area. The pain is not necessarily bad it's just very uncomfortable, and feels like a very deep catscratch over bad sunburn, and on the ribs this will definitley be more painful than the back.

It could be either, but really, it doesn't matter, and does you no good to try to figure it out before hand. Your anticipation and thoughts about pain, can actually add to the pain in your experience.

Instead, if you are getting this tattoo, then get a good nights sleep, eat 1 hr. before hand, do not take any pain killers or alcohol for 24hrs before getting tattooed, practice relaxing your whole body (tension anywhere in your body will make the pain more intense), smile, distract yourself, look around, talk, listen, keep your sense of humor, and breathe, but most of all, hold still for your tattoo artist.
