I think first off you have to be well informed and persistent. Also, it helps to not be afraid to stand alone on an issue if what you believe is right and no one else backs you up. That's not easy, but sometimes that's what it takes. It helps of course to get others to stand with you if possible. The squeaky wheel still gets fixed quicker than the quiet one. It depends on what you are fighting, but a letter well written and precise to the editor of a newspaper often gets published, and could receive the attention of the right people. It really depends where, and what, you are fighting.

That is tough to do in today's world. There is so many levels to go through and so much red tape. A person can get lost in it all. I think that is the idea. Throw so much stuff out there that nobody can figure out what it is that particular department is for. I don't know what you are fighting but I have a lawyer for a daughter and if you have a specific question I can certainly ask her for you. I promise she won't charge anything for the help.

What "system"? How do you want to "fight" it? Peacefully? Violently? All aspects of this "system" or just a specific thing?
You can start by educating yourself on what it's all about. People that fight things they don't understand for reasons that aren't theirs often end up losing in the most horrible ways.

Sounds to me like you don't even know what 'the system' is let alone how, why or even if you should fight it.

Get informed and involved in your local politics. Attend City Council meetings, and County Commissioner meetings. Regularly check your local paper for "public hearings" and attend every one you possibly can.
