How do I view all my photos from emails with the new Yahoo Mail?
I recently switched to the new Yahoo Mail layout and I noticed I can't find the "View All Photos" or "View All Attachments" shortcuts... I don't want to have to skim through thousands of emails to find one photo, what happened to the filtering feature from the old yahoo mail? Anyone have any answers or suggestions? Thanks!

Unfortunately, the option is no longer available in the new version. I finally contacted a yahoo rep and was advised they removed this option....no good explanation given....The only way you can bring them up now is to find the email that contains the photo. This means you have to check your inbox....sent folder or any other place you may have saved them. You can also use MAIL SEARCH on your email page and enter something that relates to that email...IE: senders email address or subject matter ...to bring up that email. You can also enter PHOTOS and/or ATTACHMENTS in this search box, which brings up many, if not all, of your emails that has attachments/photos. I loved that option, but apparently Yahoo does not...=))
This is how to go back to Classic ... if you want to..
Go to , http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ym%E2%80%A6 and click on "click here" that follows "However, if you do not want to upgrade".

There are a few things you can do which might help : Allow your email to fully load up before you click on anything. Wait for the loading icon in the browser to stop and then try. If that doesn't help then reload your email or sign out then sign back in. Make sure the browser is updated to the latest updates and has the latest version of Adobe Flash player plug-in. Clear the browsing history by pressing control, shift & delete together. This works for both Internet Explorer & Firefox. Can also work for Chrome as well. Try another web browser to what you're using this might help. Some web browsers work faster than others so try Firefox,Chrome,Safari or Opera. See which one works best to view photos. Hope that helps you,Tidus

I guess the themes are more important to yahoo than the ability to search your own email. That is so F*** I have better luck in changing how the annoying background image looks than finding a needle photo in my haystack of emails. Plus the fact that gmail is easier to configure in outlook than yahoo mail would make me want to not use this F***in email anymore.

I've found that if you log into yahoo on a mobile device through your web browser (do not go to the mobile version or app) they still have that available there. But, it takes a long time to view photos from years back. You can save the image to your photos.

What other creative ways to ruin their mail app can Yahoo developers find?
Too bad I can't switch my Yahoo email address to Google like a phone number.

Type your email address into the email search bar. Once all your emails come up you'll see "Photos" and "All" as options on the line above the list of emails. Just click them and ALL your photos will appear. You will be amazed at what you see.

I too, was just trying to find an old photo - seems to be lost within the thousands of emails I have. With every improvement Yahoo makes, they seem to shoot themselves in the foot. The open tabs are missing, photos are buried, etc. Scratching my head as to why they want to make their email less useful.

In your new yahoo email, in Search Mail address window, press any key in the keyboard. I can press"." and the window enlarge to show a list you can search for. In your bottom right hand corner, you will see "Advanced mail Search". Click it. The window will enlarge again. Delete what you initially press in the keyboard "." in the row named "contains". Leave the date as "Any time". Check mark the boxes for both, "Has attachment" and "Has image" and click Search Mail.
The next window list emails and on top bar of the email list just in line with compose is "Messages" highlighted, next to it is "Photos" and "Documents". Just click photos and images will start loading.
I hope that will be helpful to you.
